With this website I will try to review some of the old games from the past, starting with the 1980’s when the computer games era began. Older people know that Old Games are called “Oldies but Goldies”. UFO – ENEMY UNKNOWN, DUNE 1 and 2, ALBION, TRANSPORT TYCOON, MDK and many more old game titles.
- What are old games? Are they legal?
- Abandonware is old computer software which is no longer being sold or supported by its expired copyright holder. Alternately, the term is also used for old software which is still available, but on which further support and development has been deliberately discontinued by the 100 years owner. Since the software is no longer sold or supported, the elder copyright holders are not directly harmed in any way. This is why old gaming sites are, for the most part, ignored by the law. The distribution of older copyrighted games is illegal!
This ol’ page about video games is under construction for now, check back soon. Thanks.

An incredible initiative might I say
Cheers mate !
P.S : I’ve been trying to restore the glory of gaming’s Golden Age myself although I’ve done it in my native language.
Hey, just a game review recommendation: If you haven’t tried “Planescape: Torment” it’s definitely worth a look! One of my old favorites
Thank you for the site. I’ve been looking for some old racing games (found Re-Volt, which i’m trying to get running under ubuntu), also pod, which can be found here: http://www.thebasingers.com/0706milbs/pod/
I’m still looking for another racing game, the name of which i can’t remember. I had just a demo version back in the late 90s and it consisted of pre-rendered background images, where the vehicle was rendered on (nice technology by the way!) But it featured also nice light effects (sun glare for example). The demo map was with a chinese looking ambiente. Does anyone know, what game i’m talking about?
